Telefónica expands HD lineup
ByTelefónica had added four new high-definition channels to its Spanish IPTV service ‘Movistar Imagenio’.
The new channels are: MGM HD, Unitel Classica HD, Eurosport HD and National Geographic Wild HD, with carriage of MGM HD and Unitel Classica HD being exclusive in Spain. The new additions bring the total number of HD channels available on the service to six.
The telco had reached 733,000 subscribers for Movistar Imagenio by the end of the first quarter of this year, adding 30,000 customers in the three-month period.
