What switch can you use for FTA?

By The GoodFTA Admin Team

DP21 means that it’s a DishPro switch for 2 sats on 2 DP LNB’s to 1 receiver, switch is powered by receiver. – at this time, using a standalone DP21 is not recommended for the Pansat 3500s

DP34 means that it’s a DishPro switch for 3 sats on 3 DP LNB’s to 4 receivers. has 3 trunked outputs which in effect give you another LNB connection or in effect make your single LNB a Virtual Dual and Your Dual LNB a Virtual Triple, right up to 6 trunked switches with outputs for 24 receivers or 24 virtual LNB connections from just one DP Single LNB (Wrap your mind around that! ) Switch is powered by DN Receiver – works great with 3500s and at least one DP Receiver

DP44 means that it’s a DishPro switch for 4 sats on 4 DP LNB’s to 4 receivers. Has Trunk Ports as per above DP34 and has it’s own power supply. Best DP type of switch for FTA due to included power supply.

SW21 means that it’s a legacy switch for 2 sats to 1 receiver – will not work with Pansat

SW42 means that it’s a legacy switch for 4 sats to 2 receivers – will not work with Pansat

Diseqc 4×1 means that you may connect 4 sat inputs of 4 LNB’s to one receiver.

SW22 is a 22hz Tone switch with which you may add 2 LNB’s to one Diseqc Port. One LNB is set to ON and the other is set to OFF for it to work. SW22 allows you to mix Legacy and DP LNB’s

SW22 switch allows you to double up the LNB’s with each SW22 switch to each Diseqc Port for 8 sats to 1 receiver. 1 on and 1 off x 4 = 8 LNB’s!!!

SW22′s also work with DP34 and DP44 switches for 6 sats to 4+ receivers with DP34 and 8 sats to 4+ receivers with DP44
